Some cricket fans will claim that the only show in town this summer has been the Men's Test series between England and India but the County Championship Division Two has produced quality and excitement all season long.
This week's round of fixtures is no different and all four of the games which began on Tuesday are still in play for Friday, offering some interesting betting options for cricket enthusiasts.
Let's take a look at what day four in the County Championship Division Two could deliver!
The Final Day Of Round 11
It would be a surprise if Northamptonshire, Glamorgan and Leicestershire were all unable to turn positive positions into wins on Friday.
Middlesex 445 vs Gloucestershire 54/1
With no play available on day three in Cheltenham due to rain, the game between Middlesex and Gloucestershire looks set to be a draw.
Gloucestershire will resume 391 runs behind the visitors but need to lose 19 wickets on Friday alone if they are to lose the game.
Derbyshire 377 & 52/4 v Northamptonshire 550/9 declared
After Justin Broad (171) and Rob Keogh (125*) propelled Northamptonshire's lower order to 550/9 declared earlier in the game, the hosts require only six wickets on Friday while Derbyshire still need 121 runs to make the opposition bat again!
- Derbyshire to win 26.00
- Northants to win 1.00
Glamorgan 261 & 348/7 declared vs Lancashire 137 & 226/5
It is a very uphill task for Lancashire if they are to avoid a home defeat against Glamorgan but they do have Australian Marcus Harris at the crease, unbeaten on 24, and he will be their big hope on Friday. Lancashire need another 247 runs with only five wickets remaining.
- Lancashire to win 11.00
- Glamorgan to win 1.00
Leicestershire 471 vs Kent 217/3
It was a day dominated by the weather on Thursday with Kent able to progress from 203/3 at stumps on Wednesday to 217/3 at the close on day three. Ben Compton is still at the crease and if he can see off an early spell on Friday then Kent should be fine.
